Used Lexus Gs300 Transmision Search

Hi All

I have just found out after I bought a used lexus GS300 2006, that I need a new transmission box. Please can anyone help with where I can find any used or refurbished Lexus GS300 transmission.

I'm guessing that one from a 2000 GS300SE wouldn't be the same, would it? My 300SE is going spare now that I've bought a newer one.

The older one was in great mechanical condition - never lost a drop of oil from the engine or gearbox. Only problem with the car was a cream-crackered ABS Pump.

Thanks for your reply, I am not sure if the 2000 GS300SE will fit my 2006 Model, I spoke to my engineer who said the numbers on both transmission should be the same, I will try and get the number on my transmission and see if it will match yours.

I'm sure a 2000 model transmission wouldn't be the same as a 2006 model due to the later being a 6 speed auto box

Have you tried find-a-part or similar online part finders, maybe some breaker may have one for an extortionate amount
