Neither the interior button or the boot release button on the boot lid will work and I wondered if anyone could help with possible faults?

I don't know the solution, but it would be extremely unlikely that both switches have failed at the same time. Is there a dedicated fuse to boot release ?

Does the boot release on the key fob work ?

The key fob button doesn't release the boot either. I agree that a fuse sounds most likely but I'm not sure there is a dedicated fuse. Everything else works though.

Have you checked the boot opening hasn't been disabled with the switch in the glovebox?
