Hi guys, new to this forum today and was looking for some advice,

Recently bought myself a 2007 is220d..... Non navigation interface.

The car comes with an aux in but I have seen online a lead/connection that plugs into the factory stereo that I can connect my iPod to play & charge.

Has anyone had any experience with this or any information??

Any help would be great

Thanks

Simon :)

You can connect a phono cable from your ipod into the aux in socket in your arm rest. You could also get a charger lead connected into the power outlet next to the aux socket.

When I had a 220d (07) i just used the phono lead into the aux socket. But I always ensured my ipod was fully charged. But it would last a whole day on a full charge easily.

This is the kit I've seen, plugs into the back of the factory head unit so I don't have to use the aux in or 12v charger. This kit plugs into the bottom of the iPod soncan control iPod through steering wheel etc.

Anyone had any experience with this kit or similar?

Thanks 😄
