Another topic :D

My altezza came with sat nav already installed, but as you know its in japanese - no good to me! :lol:

So, my question is how change it to UK spec and hook a dvd player up?

This will be a demo ICE car for our company - so your info could be rewarded in a group buy!

Hi mate, there is no way of converting the unit into English i`m afraid....

I`m sure LEX AV will help you out regarding the DVD hook up... Your parcel willbe posted tomorrow by the way!!! :winky:

I see. How about if i got an Alpine INA 333r navi system? surely i could link that directly to the monitor?

Hi I know this is probably a bit late but while surfing I found this place http://www.protech-uk.co.uk/imp_apps.htm that say they do factory sat-nav conversions on altezza's. No price list or details I'm afraid.

Well found mate!!! The car i have due in around February could well be taking a visit to them!

emailed them and now awaiting a reply. I will let you know how much they want!

I got the RGB PIN outs for the ALPINE unit... But not too sure on the SYNC... But surly possible.

The picture quality is very acceptable. But it's only a 5.8" Monitor.
