It mentions something in the RX450h handbook about leaving exterior lights on for 30s after turning the car off. Mine does not do this even though the personalised settings have the exterior lights on for 30s which I find a bit odd. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

*BUMP*

No one knows anything about follow me home lights on the RX450h?

Oh man. I spotted this on the test drive and was hoping that would happen when it was selected. Very odd. I will ring Hull tomorrow and ask them to find out before the car is delivered. I will keep you posted.

I can imagine that this is a feature available in other countries such as USA and not in the UK for some strange reason. This is the case on the IS250. They probably just forgot to remove this menu for the UK. I will be annoyed if this is the case

Its definitely available in the US. Ive been on the ClubLexus forums and asked about it and they can turn it on or off directly from the nav menu under "light settings". They have 5 options there whereas we only have four which is odd

Similar to the GS. It has menu's for auto locking the doors but it's been disabled for the UK

Really? - I had a new IS300h as a courtesy car a coiuple of weeks ago and it had auto lock enabled. (64 plate with 2000 miles on the clock)

Mine locks its doors automatically too? I might get the dealers on it or use the Carista app with an OBD2 adaptor

Our 2011 is 250 Auto locks after 10mph. You can also set it to lock and unlock when shifting out of and in to Park. This, however is not possible on our 2007 model.

Ok so I have heard back from Lexus hull on this matter. Those setting are to adjust the time the DRL, Puddle lights and some rear lights? come on when you open the car with the remote. They are not a 'follow me home' feature.

in the US they have a proper follow me home feature. We don't seem to get that in the UK which is very annoying

Yes very annoying. Just seen this on the CT forum though and I did notice this a few months ago on a basic 2014 CT200h hire car, whilst my IS was in for a service, although the menu was worded more like the one on the RX, so that manual posted is possibly for another market
