Is200 Need Work! I Need A Garage! Help.

Hi I'm new too this but I need help. I'm looking for a good garage in the Barking and Dagenham area. I have a is200 1999 model and it was running very well. I had plans to fix it up and possibly kit it out. But I started getting noises in the exhaust just off the engine.

I need some help as this will be my first project!

Could you be a bit more specific in what the actual problem is? The exhaust "fell off the engine"? Do you mean the manifold nuts have all come loose and it's no longer attached to the head, or has part of the exhaust system broken/cracked?

As you rev the engine and the rev comes down you hear a rattle in the cat just off the engine. If your at the front looking at the engine it's the first 3 parts of the exhaust down to the cat. That is where the noice is coming from! I hope that helps! Cos I need some. Good behind the wheel but fixing is not my angle. But I will try!

Could be as simple as a loose joint, but then again it could be the cat(s) breaking down inside, which means replacements

Yea I was thinking replacement. But as I said I don't know what I'm doing. If I had some where I could try my self. But I would need help and my I pad! Hahaha thanks for you help matt-c. Will start looking around for exhaust parts and or system.
