Hi

I have 245 45 18 on my ls400. They are quite harsh!!!

Could anyone please recommend a bigger sidewall without rubbing?

You could always go back to original fitment i.e. 225/60/16. Guaranteed to be nowhere near as harsh.

Im on 225/45/18 with 8j rim width ET35,can be a little harsh on big pot holes, but on a run its ok, i get no rubbing

245/45/18 is a very close match to original rolling radius. just -2mm overall

I have decided I am going for 250 45 18. Just hope they do not rub when they fit them.

"Just hope" they don't rub?

A bit of an expensive gamble?

The space under the arches isn't huge. And 'rubbing' might have safety aspects.

AND, you need to tell insurance company of alteration!
