Gold Membership - Service Discount

Hi,

Has anybody availed the lexus owners club gold membership discount for your service plan?

I have read conflicting reports online that many dealers are not honoring the service discounts guaranteed for Lexusownersclub gold members. I am in two minds - whether to buy the gold membership or not and I would only go ahead to become a gold member if the dealers (Hatfield / Cambridge / Milton Keynes) offer a 10% (or as claimed on the gold membership benefits page) discount over the standard rates advertised on lexus websites.

I took out a 3 year, 3 service plan and had the price reduced by 12.5% to account for the LOC discount.
