From new I have always been frustrated that you can’t terminate a traffic announcement mid-way through, if listening to FM I perfected a technique of briefly changing pre-set stations with the steering wheel control but if listening to CD, USB or BT this doesn’t work and you are forced to listen to whole announcement and often some dribble afterwards before it switches off. This morning I was using the CD (yes-old fashioned) and the central screen was left to 100% Audio rather than my more

normal 50% Nav, 25% Audio, 25% Energy and a dialogue box came up with the option to terminate the travel announcement, can you get this function with the Audio at 25% screen size?

I must admit I have never played a CD, but I do get the option to terminate the traffic message dialogue box when

I am using BT or USB and the screen is set at 25% Audio, which it also habitually is with me.

Thank you for your reply, perhaps the dialogue it does show at 25% Audio and I have not seen it, will take a closer look.

On mine, if you are listening to USB or CD, just press the mode button on the steering wheel when a traffic announcement comes on and it cancels and goes back to USB or CD. It doesn't work when listening to FM, as the announcement is on FM, so it changes the source to something else! Annoying, so I've reverted to doing as you and going up/down on the preset button to go back/cancel.
