Usb Palyback 2008 Gs 450H

Hi guys,

Although my 450 is the facelift it still only has an aux socket and 12v power in the arm rest. Has anyone put a USB input onto one of these or could suggest a good media type gateway to achieve this?

As mentioned, I fitted mine a few weeks ago and it works superb.

Dead easy to fit and works just like the built in CD player.

If you need any more information on the unit or fitting or pictures I'm happy to help.

Regarding orders being from the states, my experience, stuff gets delivered quicker from the states than from the uk most of the time.

You will need to factor in the £25 import duty but other than that no problems.

As an alternative option to the VAIS, I recently installed a GROM-USB3 - working very well, invisible (just route it through the the arm-rest) and charges my Iphone on the move. Available from amazon (for about £119) and as easy to install as the VAIS.

nice helpful video - maybe if i do buy a gs one day i will be doing that - he said clockwise twice when "unscrewing" !! - does their time go backwards lol
