I've had my IS 4 months now, and I've recently started to get bad muscle pain in my left leg\hip\groin Getting in and out of the IS is becoming very painful (and I'm thinking could be a cause) I'm 6'2 and I'm starting ti think what's caused this is the the small door aperture * - I have to contort a bit to get in and out. I'm wondering if any other tall drivers have had any issues with discomfort? Actually sat in the car I'm fine. Its getting bad enough now that Im thinking I might have to sell the car (very reluctantly)

*My last 3 cars have been a 4x4, MPV and Ford Mondeo, all of which have had big doors, both in length and hight, compared to the IS.

I have the is-f and I do have to wind myself in a bit. I am 6 foot 2. The automatic steering wheel does help though. I don't experience any pain though.

Im 6ft 2" and don't have any bother with the car, driven to London and back from scotland a few times never had any bother on long journeys.

6'4 and no probs, have you tried messing around with the seat so the front is lifted up, to give you support under your thigh?

Yep I have the front of the seat raised, but its not sitting in the car that I think is the problem - I am perfectly comfortable - its the twisting and contortion of getting in and out thats giving me muscle pain.

Sorry not noticed any probs with my aged and knackered body getting in and out, although I do bang my head on the handgrip thingy!!
