New Gs Vs Rx ?

So ... I am finally thinking of replacing my much loved 2006 GS300 SE with a newer model.

I am currently looking at two models - RX Special Edition 450h 3.5 and the GS 300h Luxury.

I am worried that if I go for the GS it will never be quite as good as the one it is replacing...but some reviews of the RX aren't brilliant.

Also, should I attempt to sell my GS privately as the dealer has only offered 3K as part exchange ?

Any thoughts ?

Have a good test drive of them both. The new GS is setup for a more sporty drive than the previous one so depends if you want comfort over handling. The RX will get better deals as a new model is around the corner.

IMHO if you like performance you have to get the RX, if you don't care about 0-60 the GS 300h is great also for mpg.

Again, if you like speed, the answer is GS 450h (and probably it has better mpg than RX 450h).

The GS is a massive improvement over the last generation. RX is very different, but you might like the change. Worth test driving both.
