Diesel Tuning Box

Hi all, I pick up my 2010 220d on Monday and I am keen to purchase a tuning box. Does anyone have or know of any good budget ones, Ie not a £300-400 one.

Any help is appreciated

Mine is a pro boost 2 from racechip and works well,around £200

What sort of bhp does that give? Is there a noticeable difference in power? Has it caused any problems for you?

Its hard to say how much power its added as i havent dynod it,it states it will take it to 231bhp o the website but i would think its at around 210bhp,its certainly made a big difference. the torque is awsome.

Its been on the car since april and caused no problems at all,easy to fit

@zoran is there a reason why you went for the pro2 over the racechip one. Just wondering if it's worth the extra 80quid

I went for the pro 2 because it was the newer product and offered the extra 7bhp and more nm or torque over the racechip 1

Ideal. Just got a racechip and seems to have raised the torque in the turbo but still sluggish out of the turbo in the lag. Did you alter the settings At all to improve this further?

I left mine on the setting it came with although ive heard moving it along 1 more setting works well,anymore than 1 more setting causes hesitation from what ive been told.

I have the sprintbooster fitted to my car as well which seems to help with the turbo lag and i also have a K N panel air filter fitted and only use shell vpower nitro diesel with archoil 6200 additive...a lot of expense i know but worth it in my opinion,the car is awesome!!
