Rear Drive On Lexus Rx400H

Hi All. Last year I bought a 400h Lexus. This is a dream car, but during Christmas I drove over a bump and right after there was a pothole. As I was accelerating out of it there was a huge bang on the rear axil all the lights came on and the vehicle glided to a halt. The vehicle would not drive. As it was night I towed it home and later took it took it to the garage. The HV batteries went down and still don't know what could have gone wrong. Any ideas? Can I also jump the HV batteries with another hybrid Lexus vehicle? Do I need a new rear drive? Any assistance would be valuable to me. I simply love that vehicle

Jimmy, I would advise AGAINST jump starting a HV Battery.
