Led Door Sills

Hi all,

Seen a few cars with the LED door sills where the lexus writing lights up. I know these were an optional extra from tte. I also know that there is a thread on here where someone was producing their own ones.

Are these still available? Would be great if they still were but i know it was an old thread from 2010.

Would love to buy a set if these are still available.

Thank you for your reply. However that post i think was referring to the newer model, second gen IS. I have the older first gen model. Struggling to find the door sills anywhere for the older first gen IS

The ones in the first link (is200) were a group buy a few years back and made by a club member to order, they do surface now and then on eBay and the facebook group saling page.

The main problem with them were that the light panel failed not long after they were fitted, they didnt have a long life span, looked the muts when they worked but they didnt last long enough to justify their cost. (light panels not the sills)

Thank you for your reply, damn I've really been after these, been scouting eBay like any thing for these. Someone got a lucky deal, a set sold for £25 couple weeks ago and missed my chance then.

Can these light panels be changed for a SMD strip light, or something similar to make them worth their while.
