just let it idle for 10 minutes for the ECU to bring it down. Alternatively drive it, at each junction come to a complete stop and let it idle for 30 seconds and repeat - this will accelerate the learning.

hi i have been driveing it around for a couple days but still haveing same prob as its auto i put it in gear and it revs at just under 2k but in park it goes to 3k

you need to let it idle in Park or neutral when at a junction rather than being left in drive otherwise the ECU won't try and adjust the idle speed. Every time you do this the idle speed should come down slightly.
