Could I ask the benefit of these over sticking several neodymium magnets to the bottom of a normal sump plug?

Two benefits that I can think of:

1. It cannot be knocked off (however unlikely)
2. The oil will be in direct contact with the magnet so should be more effective than a magnetic field passing through the bolt.

you could always oil resistant epoxy a couple to sump plug on next oil change.???
