On my mk3 goes off when lights are switched on ! a tap of the dash in that general area may bring it back on briefly,stays lit without switching lights on ??

Gotta be a dry joint,but where to look please ??

Never seen this before, wish I had this when I had my Mk1 ( all those years ago now ) when it needed a relatively simple fix and before I found this forum ....... had it even been created 10 yrs ago I wonder ! )

Bugger,carried out procedure by the book this afternoon,one of the resistors was indeed loose so soldered back in place.

All plugged back in and still no illumination when lights are switched on :-(

Back light fine without lights on.

So i think i will try find me a secondhand unit from a few mates that banger the old LS !!!!!!
