Tow Bar Transfer From 2002 Rx300 To 2005 Rx300

I'm about to change from a 2002 RX300 to a 2005, newer shape.

Can anyone tell me if the chassis remained the same?

My old RX has a detachable tow bar and I would like to transfer it to the newer one.

Any advice on whether this is possible would be much appreciated.

I have just checked a compatibility chart and it would appear that your 2002 towkit will not fit your new 2005 car ....sorry

Having now got the car and found the spare wheel is mounted outside, I'd figured that was going to be the case but thank you for the reply

What make towbar is suitable for the 02 RX 300?

Cant find out too much information.
