Hey Folks,

My name's Joel and ive had my Is200 for just over a year now.
It's my first car as i didn't want any little shoebox car for a first and being 22 when i passed my test was a boost for insurance etc.

Had a busy year then!!! Top work fella. Like everything apart from the headlights. Ride height and wheels make a big difference.

Yeah been pretty busy and still have a heap of odd bits in the cupboard haha
The headlights are just a yellow film and thought it's a bit different :)
Ride height is too low at the moment so gonna raise it sometime soon as it can be a bit much on bumpy roads ha!

I actually have a TTE supercharger kit in my cupboard also haha /

But i need info on the fitting etc as a performance garage i spoke to gave me a list of things i need to upgrade and some are a nightmare.

When i first insured it, it was £1000, after the started putting mods on it peaked at £1400
I've recently got my 1 years no claims and it dropped to £600 haha !
Think being 23 and 1 year NCB helped alot :D

Which is also why im buying an R32 GTR in February :)

Oh and before people think im a hooligan with a big exhaust its a HKS Super Silent Hi-Power so its very quiet but improves over the standard unit :D

wow you getting the godzilla in feb? thats a monster :) . check how much your insurance will be on the godzilla before you buy one as insurance companies try hard not to let a 23 year old near a car which can be tuned in excess of 1000bhp . but i must admit your insurance is quite low for the car you have as i was paying aroud 1500 for a 1.2 litre 70bhp clio when i was at your age lol's.. but yeh a supercharger will complement your mods nicely as theres no point having all the show and no go..

Yeah looking at a fresh import from DCY Europe, Already been tuned and body mods, can get pics if anyone wants to see.

Already done insurance and its £1000, which is odd because i got a quote on a R35 gtr for £800 hahaha with admiral aswell !

Yeah would like a bit more power from the Lex but at the moment its just a car for normal driving when im at home, No daily commute for me or anything like that.

As for the build i currently have to:
1. Get the side skirts on but need to raise it as i won't be able to get into my car park ha!
2. Thinking a complete overhaul with the front suspension as in wishbones, arms etc etc
3.Fancy another set of wheels
4. Paintwork is in a bad way since we had bad weather last month and the car was sitting for 2 weeks it got mashed by tree branches etc and scratches everywhere.
5. ABS is having issues
6. Airbag light is on for no reason
7. Need a guide on how to remove the steering wheel as i have a nardi snap off item but i can't get the wheel off the rack splines :(
