Called TrakM8 system...anybody heard of it? Seen it mentioned on another car forum and had a look at there site and reviews...one is from the BBC News site.

Did you know it's very simular to the ROADEYE system now advertised on LOC.

my mechanic is cool,he told me once he hit 100 mph on a back road,he is a nut :o good idea though for the untrusty ones :)

Don't Lexus computers have a trip record of average speed, time, distance etc. I always take a note of the mileage before I hand over the keys and reset the trip record.

will this only work in the UK or in mainland europe as well?

Roadeye comes with Vodaphone Pay-as-you-go sim.

Therefore as long as the country you are visiting has an agreement with Vodaphone, then it will work abroad.

Then again, you could always fit your own sim.

With the Trakm8 it can come with a SIM of your choice, or as with the Roadeye, you can fit your own SIM be that pay and go, or monthly subscription.
