Is300H Owners - Who Can Regen The Most?

New game for IS300h owners.

When you look at the trip display function in the main screen, the one which shows the mpg every minute for the last 15mins, there are also regen indicators, which show how much energy you have regen'd per minute. Each little E symbol is worth 5Wh according to the manual.

Most I've ever seen on my car is 3.5 symbols in a minute stack. Manual says you can have up to 5, but so far, in my experimentation of long slow braking, hard braking, cadence braking, downhill off throttle, fast, slow etc etc, I can't beat 3.5 symbols.

Any one else had more than 3.5?

you would need constant braking at the maximum charge possible indicated on the dash. Anything over maximum and the mechanical brakes are starting to become operational. I guess the only real way would be light braking from very high speed, probably whilst going down a big hill.

just looked at the manual again, as 5Wh is a pitiful amount and it is actually 30Wh it says per E symbol - so 6 times as much! Gone in 0.5s using Colin's analogy above! Must remember not to use it all at once.
