Thats great Normski!! Good price they are on sale.

Its better to buy the whole thing rather than buy just the rubber from Lexus at almost the same price.

Yeah they do and also on sale.

Normski am I right in ordering 20" for passenger side and 22" for driver side?

Thanks

Let us know how you get on Ishaq.

I want to do mine too. Got some fancy Bosch ones last time. They are a bit noisy if the rain is light. So I would prefer to go back to OEM. Unfortunately threw away the OEM blades as I thought I was upgrading...

Will let you know Exdee. They should be with me on Monday.

Your right about the Bosch ones being noisy. I got the supersilenso ones but had to replace within a week or two with cheap flat one from eBay.

Has anyone looked at the Michelin stealth wiper blades on Ebay , these look the same as my oe blades.

Michelin ones are not Hybrid and do not have the bendy bit on both ends like the OEM one have.

The Denso is the exact match to the Hybrid Lexus ones

normski2, "If you mean the lexus eBay store...it's here."

Thanks. I was unaware of that site.

Very useful.

I'm still wiping away the tears at the sight of some of the prices though ! :-)

Guys just got the Denso hybrid wipers fitted and can say they are super!! Very clean sweep no noise or streaks. On sale in Euro Car Parts so bonus. It's the same as OEM

Avoid PIAA silicon tech flat blades. Supposedly the best you can buy...

Very costly - around £60 for a 20" and a 22" plus the screen cleaner and preparation liquid.

The passenger side 20" worked well but the 22" drivers side was a mess of smeared water on the the downstroke. I sent one back as faulty and the replacement did exactly the same thing.

Switched to Bosch aerotwins and they work perfectly.

Hi Guys,

A big thank you for your posts and replies here.

I just bought an IS250 SEL 07 plate a few days ago, turned the wipers on (as it was pouring with rain) and had a piece of rubber hanging off one blade and the other blade was useless!!

I was about to folk out for a dealer price and then came across this post... phew!

Kind Regards,

Mo

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but I'm just about to try a set of the Denso blades from ECP as I've recently found mine are next to useless. The problem is I have newish OEM blades, about 6 months old fitted by the local dealer.

But they miss large parts of the screen and don't clear well on the down stroke. No amount of tweaking or flexing the wiper arm or holder can seem to get them to work effectively. So the next option is to  fit whole units rather than just using the replacement rubber and see if that helps.

But has anyone come across problems with needing to replace the wiper arm itself? Could they be worn out?
