Creaky Seats

Hi,

I am a new memeber. I bought a used 2000 GS300 a few months ago and am enjoying it very much. Except for the creaky seats. Upon acceleration from stop my seats makes a noise. It is usually worse when the seat is set very low. The problem is on both front seats. Does anyone else has this problem?

is it the leather making the noise or the actual seat frame?

It sounds like the frame or the gears that adjust the seat. I live in Los Angeles and perhaps the warm temperature has contributed to it.

Maybe the climate has caused the problem. I haven't heard of this problem in the UK. It may be worth you posting your question on the US forums, hopefully somebody there will be able to help you.

with the acceleration of the GS can you be sure it is not your A*rse creaking?
