Loss Of Sound Mlevison System But Then Back Again

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

So I went to the supermarket last night listening to my superb sound on the Mark Levison system. Parked up, done my shopping, loaded the bags in the boot.

Started the car but there was no sound from any speakers except from the one speaker at the front. I switched the system off and on again and still unable to turn the volume up or down. It just remained in a very low volume with no amplified sound for the whole journey.

When I got back home I looked in the boot to see if I have knocked or switched anything off, but there was nothing there so I assumed it could be a blown fuse.

Anyways took the shopping out say 5 - 6 Tesco bags and out of curiosity tried the system again as it was working before the shopping and guess what all was FINE!!! (maybe it doesn't like Tesco)

Very strange and I wonder if this has happened to anyone else and if there is any thing in the boot/trunk that i should be careful of in the future.

Might be worth investigating your connections on the amp/processor unit.

Lift the smallish deck cover on the rhs of the boot floor. You'll need to take up the centre carpet bit first as i recall. Then you'll see the ML unit.

Perhaps have the unit on and working properly to see if a gentle root around finds a loose connection.
