Help Needed Badly

Hi guys and girls , i need a full trottle body /comple with trottle motor for my 00 Ls 400 , i cant seem to find one one eBay or the net car is lying up tyre going flat , need to get her back on the road asap , before it becomes a breaker .HELP PLEASE i am in Ireland and no joy here its a 2000 model and boy do i miss it , Driving a E Class Merc nuff siad.

The problem you will have in obtaining the throttle body as a seperate item is the Lexus 400/430 engine is now the engine of choice for kit cars ,speedboats and upgrading power units on existing high performance cars. As the throttle body is an important part of the engines capabilities no one likes breaking them.

Your only hope is to use on-line car breakers. They scour the country for breakers that have your specific part, then send you quotes by e-mail. I've used them a couple of times.

I would try websites like www.247spares.co.uk , www.breakersyard.co.uk and www.1stchoiceparts.co.uk

Use Google and type in something like 'Lexus LS400 Throttle Body UK' and other websites should come up. The car isn't that old really so getting parts and getting it back on road shouldn't be that hard.

Lexus Dealers could still source parts but you will pay a fortune of course from them
