Driving Using Manual ....

Doing this a lot more recently and it is a lot more fun than driving in auto. Selecting the gears you want and having the power on tap without pinning your foot and waiting for down shift is great! Seems to use more fuel but a lot more entertaining to drive.

What you say about the power at tap is true, it actually makes the car feel like it wants to go round a corner like a lion...growling and making tons of noise.

And you get people looking when the second intake opens up :-)

I had a blast through the Peak District and the Cheshire lanes last week. Much of it was in manual and thoroughly enjoyable. After lots of motorway miles in the last year, it was nice to be back using it as designed.
