hi all,

has anyone installed, or paid to install DAB radio in your IS250? mines 2006 SE-L and always thought it should have been included.

DAB is still pretty new, not many cars have it i would think. its not like an essential upgrade is it?

can it be retro fitted? i dont think it would be straightforward.

The BBC have been broadcasting DAB since 1995, so it's not really that new, is it?

If it wasn't for Radio 6 Music, I wouldn't bother with DAB. Many people think that internet radio will overtake DAB long before FM is shut down, as take-up has never been that high.

I bought a small portable Bush DAB radio from Argos when they were on sale for £17.99 (they are back up to £24.99 now) and it works well when played through my aux in socket.

yeah, you are right, what i meant for car audio its not really a deal breaker is it, mp3 is probably the de facto standard in recent years.
