ah ok, was wondering as it is the series A engine and thought about the crankshaft (original ones prone to flexing around the main bearings)

series A engines ranged from 998 to 1300cc, no probs at all to bore a 998 upto 1300 either.

nice to see you've left the aircon in bud! should think you'l be getting a bit hot in your suit and lid etc.!!!!!!!!!!!! :P :P :P

nope the aircon is fully removed from the car.......

at the moment none of the heater controls work :yawn: ..but i will be setting it up to blow warm, at medium speed..then removing the heater control panel, and running the heater control from toggle switches

removing the aircon removed 35kg of weight from the car

...........still not fitted the last piece of plastic glass.......... :yawn:

however today, drove the car!!!!!!!!, yep it drives

started to mount the seat properly

mounted and plumbed in the 2litre oil catch tank, started to measure up for the induction pipes.

i do have a set of TRADE plates for that longer jaunt....

however that wont happen till ive sorted the electronic throttle problem, would be a bit difficult to explain to the Police why a race car is broken down at the side of the road :unsure:

things still to do...........

1....make up the induction pipework and cold air box.....done

2....Fit drivers seat properly....done

3....plumb in fire extinguisher.....done

4....connect up pull cables for extingusher.....done

5....wire in ignition to master switch cut off

6....get heater controls working.....done

7....sort ETCS

8....sort headlights wireing problem

9....fit chassis braces.....done

10..fit strut braces

11..make up aluminium floor plates

12..fit underbody aluminium panels

13..obtain and fit engine oil cooler

14..fit 6 point harness's.....done

15..mount passenger seat.....done

16..fill with petrol

17..go for a blast on a private track :D

so not much really..........................
