Lifting Ls430 On Ramp With Wheels Hanging Down

i have had the car in the garage where they put it on a lift with the wheels hanging down - will that have any adverse lon term effect on the air suspension? Is it recommended to lift so that the whole car is lifted with the weight still on the wheels? - the car drove fine afterwards

just curious as in USA there is alot of talk about switching air suspension off before lifting

On the earlier LS400 ( mine is a 1994) yes you do have to switch off the AS before lifting the wheels off the ground and the switch is located in the tool box area.

Not sure with the later models but this should be mentioned in your owner's manual under lifting and jacking the car.
