Here are some of the things that going to happen at stage 3.....

Full interior retrim with carbon leather and something different.

Full boot build with carbon leather and perspex.

Alpine and Phoenix Gold gears.

Clifford Alarm.

Tracker.

Duel charging system.

car will be off for 3 weeks, then hopefully be on Max Power live at the NEC for 1 week, then getting ready for JAE04....

I had the dual charging system on my last car, what you get is 2 batties, 1 for starting the car and all the major electric of the car, the other is for the sound and vision and any other equipments,and when the car is running it will charge both Battery, i hope you know what i mean...

Niiiiiiiice Too bad it's only 6.5" compared to the 7" on the D900 :( Smaller resolution aswell :( I'm still in doubt between those 2, haven't seen them in action yet

Alternative: put it in the back of the center console, that way people in the back can watch the show without having to run behind the car :D

I was searching for the Alpine units you are using the PXA-H701 and its controller and found this forum. First of all, Maz, your car looks pretty wicked.

I don't actually own a Lexus although I have been wanting an LS400 for a few years now. I just can't yet justify the green to buy one. I presently own an Mercury Grand Marquis largely because it is one of the few rear drive vehicles available in the States for a reasonable price.

I am looking to load it up with high tech gear including a car computer with nav and a very nice Escort Passport SRX. Then the audio gear of course. Also looking to install a computer controlled scanner for finding law enforcement before they find me.

But onto the reason for my post. I am just letting you guys know I want your opinions on the PXA-H701 and its controller RUX-C701. Also from my understanding the display unit you are using controls the PXA-H701 directly? If so it would be one less item eating up dash space.

thank for you comment matey, as for the choice of PXA-H701 and RUX-C701, i belive you are right with the IVA-D300 can be used to control the PXA-H701, but because im using a double din facia on my Lexus, i choose to use the RUX-C701 too, as it also look pretty cool together with the IVA-D300...

Get professional bodyshop to do the job, that the best way, but do shop around and go and see them at work and any examples they have, that the best way, I had my car done by a company who do alots of show car over here, so they work is pretty good.... :) :) :) :) :)
