Hi

my is200 appears to be immobilised.

someone pressed the book open button on the key while the key was in the ignition and the car running. she then turned the car off and moments later i tried to restart and nothing happens and it appears to be immobilised.

does anyone know how i can fix this?

thanks for help

This fix is for the GS models but maybe worth a try, put the key in the ignition lock and turn to the ignition point so all the dash lights are on.

Leave it in this position for 20 minutes then try and start the car.

Also have you tried disconnecting the Battery for a few minutes to see if this resets the system ( just make sure you have the radio code if it needs one)

i have not tried the Battery yet either - re radio codes, where are they located?
