05 Ls430 Tilt Motor Replacement Tutorial

Im always researching fixes to potential 430 problems just incase i ever need them

I came across this which was on the US forum - it contains part numbers, PDF instructions and pictures which maybe useful to someone now or in the near future.

The way i understand it is the tilt is fairly straight forward to do however the rake motor requires alot of dismantleing - havent found a tutorial yet but if i do i will post it up.

I looked at a 2003 sc430 for sale recently, the walnut facia covering covering the sat nav was stuck in the open position, looking though the po's paperwork he had reported it at the last service. The quote for rectifying it......wait for it.......................................

£2860!!!!!
