Not sure if I am dreaming, but got renewal from Direct Line - cost £281.

Just been on Compare the Meerkat and AA quoting £200 - seems too good to be true ,and even gives 90 days EU driving cover.

Think I know who will be getting my money this year, and I get a free Meerkat (maybe to replace my furry dice!!)

I have paid around the £200 mark for around 3 years now. Mike

Same here - £190 / year with 5 year NCB and 44yo :)

No I didn't what a swizz! They are real ones on the TV adverts though aren't they, I got a letter from Alexander asking for £20.00 towards some baby milk which I gladly sent as requested to Nigeria.

What the ----- £168 fully comp for the Ls600, Ls 400 = £200 or £190 for grown ups, and even only £500 for a kid. Lucky people my premium for any one of my cars is €1080 just less than £1000. William

You want to see the price of a pint of Guiness in the Templebar area, I nearly had to get a 2nd mortgage.

Yeah £500 for a kid !!!!

I have been driving for 7 years have driven in over half of the European countries and have covered on average 20,000 miles per year (on other insurance policies) but yes not too bad for a child hey !!!

Beats driving a corsa of a fiat punto or a renault clio (I have had all of the above) and eventhough they are cheaper to run I would not go back to one unless it was a toss-up between that and the bus !!!

In that case I better not take my stuffed Meerkat on a trip to Dublin, just in case he wants a pint of Guiness, and guess my EU cover on insurance would cover me for Eire.

Also better move North of the Border to get even cheaper insurance. What happens if the vote says YES.

and that goes for you as well Pete.

Cheers,

Last time I had too much of that there Black Gold was Malahide 2005, never actually got into Dublin,

Her indoors keeps wanting to fly over, (she hates boats), but my plan one day is to get the ferry and pick her up at the airport.

But work and kids keep getting in the way of these grand plans.
