Key Fob And Window Operatrion

Righy, my ISF used to wind the windows down and up when i held the unlock/lock buttons. I seem to have unprogrammed this feature. Now when i hod down the lock buton the car juts does a sungle 'beep'??

Any idea how i get the window feature back. I looked in the manual but couldnt find any instructions.

Try disconnecting Battery for 5-10 secs @ check Battery in key fob,reconnect Battery @ press each window button separately @ that should reprogram ecu good luck

I'm glad my ISF doesn't do this. When I had the IS250 with the function a few times my unlock button must have been pressed against something in my pocket and put all the windows down overnight. It rained that night but thankfully nothing was damaged.

It's odd. Not sure disconnecting the Battery will work as that just re-sets the window operation in the car from the door pannel. Don't think that impacts key fob operation?

Andy - It's the opposite, they won't open with the key fob where as they used to. Luckily no risk of open windows overnight :)

With me being so clumsy Stuart it's a blessing that mine is in the same boat as yours.

What with my volume button issue and seemingly aiming my alloys at any available curb it's the last thing I need.

Turns out I was being 'special' and holding the close button expecting the windows to open when I needed to be holding the open button!

I'm pretty sure it's a dealer job and this pdf seems to confirm it (points 8 and 9)
