Pre-MOT check today revealed that my rear brake discs were pretty much shot, so they were replaced along with the pads - a service item, really. I now have nice firm brakes rather than a sponge full of air. Then it went through the MOT with no advisories - that's four years in a row, I think. This hasn't happened with any other car I've ever owned.

The beauty of an LS.

My Mk2 had 4 MOT's with absolutely nothing to be done.

MK4 just had it's second and nothing other then number plate bulb needed replacing

Previous Vaux Omega when only 4 years old had something to be done every year for the 6 years I had it. Glad the Omega eventually blew a gasket and I landed in the 'World of LS400' 6 years ago.

This is why I say the LS is the cheapest car I have ever run even if it does drink a bit more fuel than your average family motor.
