I gather some where down the line this has been covered, so accept my apologies. I am wondering who people use to service there lexus in liverpool/merseyside to service and maintain my 04 lexus rx300 that i have only just purchased 1 month ago.

Hi Carl

You could try Glyn Jones Vehicle Servicing and Repairs, who are independent Lexus and Toyota specialists on Merseyside. You can find their details with a Google search - the third entry down in a Google search is their Facebook page which has their address and phone number.

I have no direct experience of their work but I bought a second LS400 at the beginning of this year which had been serviced by them since 2006. I did contact them before making the purchase of the car to ask them a few questions and they were very helpful. Indeed, they offered to send me printouts of the service records at no cost if I sent them a sae, which I did. They came back in the post the following day. They previous owner of the LS400 must have been happy with their work as he used then for several years and has continued to use them for the Lexus that he has bought to replace the LS 400.

OK, Carl, perhaps you can let me know how you get on.

I am thinking I might use them when the cam belt needs changing in about 10,000 miles, as they have fitted the one that is currently on the car and they know the car well.

I don't know any specialist in the West Midlands area and, although Merseyside is some distance away, we could combine it with a visit to our son who lives there.
