That looks nice, you can get leather interior of eBay fairly cheap anyway, but the car does look good

And as it's strictly a Toyota it will also be cheaper to insure. Insurance companies prefer the little word 'Lexus'. It gives them an excuse to bump up our premiums.

Not really Adam, I had a Toyota celsior recently, a 1999 model with full leather etc, £420 per year

I've had mine for over 6 years and as I have said many times no mainstream insurer will touch them so you are at the mercy of the "specialist" import insurer's unless your V5C states the car is a Lexus instead of Toyota and the insurance company don't ask if the car is an import.

Mine is just over £315.00 fully comp with a 4000 mile yearly limit, an equivalent LS400 would be £220.00 with no restrictions.

If you wouldn't mind could you pm me the insurer you used?

I know another Celsior owner used a mainstream insurer who couldn't find the car listed so put it down as an LS400.
