occupation Policeman, but ive been off sick this last year as i have cancer so dont ask me any tricky legal questions coz ive forgotten most of it :D

I bought a brand new VW golf 2.8 v6 4 motion last october that gave me nothing but hassle, it was in and out of the dealership more times than i was in and out of hospital and because of my illness i got rid of it for something more trouble free.

I bought a used 2003 Lexus is200 se with 3000 miles on the clock and it has been brilliant ever since.

no mods yet the only thing im considering is parking sensors and blue interior dials when they become available.

Im Stuart, 28, from sunny Whitstable in Kent. Work for Sun Microsystems (IT), happily married with two kids 11 & 3.

Had my car from new, a IS200 SE Auto, always wondered if I made the right choice (manual or auto), then got stuck in traffic & realized auto is definately for me!

Car has rear park sensors, sprots grill, Siemans car kit (thanks Steve) & soon to be dressed in Toms style eyelids.

Should get round to going gold some day!!!

I miss the power in the 3s -gte but not the comfort.

Hobby: My familiy and kids takes some times but it is the cars,watching my football team Viking and english football matches (Liverpool) when I got time.

my names nick, and i'm not greek. it's a nickname given to me last year by my mates when I got bored of living in the UK and went to work on a cruiseship in the caribbean.

But i'm back now, bought my IS in august this year (satnav still not fixed).

I'm 25, and am a senior engineer for a construction company. Building some tin sheds in west london at the moment (just off the hanger lane gyratory for anyone passing by).

Used to be a mondeo man up until recently, and this my website I run, www.fordmondeo.org. I've still got the mondy, it means to much to me to sell it!

Havent modded my lex yet, but have an exhaust on order at the moment.... would like a supercharger next year, but all depends on the wonga....

I have a B/TEC ND in automotive engineering. I now specialise in fuel injection and engine management. Working in Bolton with loads of diagnostic gear and a 250bhp-rolling road.

I'm 21 and only had my IS200 for 3month after giving up on my..

98'1.2 corsa(45BHP) on performance lpg system (+5BHP)

17" karns lowered 60mm, tint'd glass, alpine head unit ,cerwin-vaga speakers, and15"sub, full custom exhaust + decat, lambda display, momo rally steering wheel, bucket seats, psg2 body kit, (body kit got damaged) and decided to get a proper car that didnt need modding. spent ages looking for an Audi A3, but drove my Lexus and paid for it there and then after months of saving up.

My 99'IS200 S is on gas (O,M,V,L full sequential) which I had to make an induction kit for, I got a new Reg -i(S200 BW)- followed by 18" alloys and 40mm of lowering and tinted windows and while I was waiting for blue flame to jig my exhaust for a production version I de-catted my car. Still waiting for my exhaust. so mutch for not modding

Run some websites for a living, making money from advertising things. Proper name for what I do is Affiliate Marketing. Most of what I do is residual so I dont really anything most of the time :)

Watch too many DVD's and play games on the PC and a bit of guitar.

Bought my SC430 May 2004. No big mods yet but have ordered a Wald kit and Induction kit. Should get a Blitz exhaust next month.

Have to say the Lex is without a doubt nicest car ive owned and I could quite happily keep it 20 years +.

Hi Am Tre 24 living in london. Have a girl friend and a month old baby. bought my car as a christmas gift (2004) is200 sport astra black. This is the 8th car i have and all has been xtreemly moded. thats my hubby. I work in the cinema, a bit of a male escort for the xtra money. I have always wanted a lex now i have finally got 1. I said i would leave it as it is but to hell with that am looking to spend no more i hope than £2500 hopefully done by the summer 2005.

Started off as an Electronics Design Engineer... (gosh that was a long time ago)... been a Project Manager at Europe’s largest Engineering Consultancy now for about 6 years.

Mostly manage research and development projects into new technologies (vehicle detection systems, intelligent CCTV systems etc)... now working my way through a host of Local Authorities bashing out RTPI systems :) (seems strange looking back to when I designed and built some of the first bus shelter displays in the UK! :) not a lot has changed since then!)

If there’s a cone on a motorway somewhere I (or a mate) probably have something to do with it. :) (sorry guys :D )

I too bought my Lexus IS200SE on my Birthday (September 2003), thought I was the only one :D

NO serious mods to it just yet, want to keep the warrantee intact and my license clean (though driving the last car (2.0l Megane Coupe) at 120 every where for four years I count myself as a lucky person to have lasted that long, alive if not without points! )

Would really like to get a s/c one day, but it seems a little bit of a waste on an auto.... might hold out and get an IS300 eventually.

I fancied the Lexus when I was eyeing up a car about 4 years ago, but couldnt stretch to the 23K then, so got the Megane instead. Finally got round to a test drive in September and bought it there and then!

My name is Mike (built in 1980) from Austria (not Australia *for Americans: we don't have kangaroos and boomerangs* :winky: ), I'm construction manager in a building enterprise for underground engeneering (channels, streets etc.).

Hobbies: Motocrossing, Tuning cars and of course drive them, diving, skiing, water skiing, skating, computer games, telling jokes.

After I sold my KTM 620 (0-62 @ 4secs B) ) in April 2002, I bought my 2001 IS200 almost new (no pre-owner except the LexusDealer himself) in August 2002 for ~24k €.

Started with the first mods in spring 2003 (HKS exhaust).

Since then I've spent a total of about 8000€ on mods. :duh:
