Dave from Romford (Not quite East London but not quite Essex), but originally from Dagenham (So I'm Dagenham Dave!). Moving to Hampshire with the job sometime soon.

Fifty so probably the oldest one here, but young at heart - Jane says I'm seventeen really. Married to Jane for 26 years!!!!! (She complains she has three big kids to look after!) :winky:

Persuaded to buy my IS200SE by my kids Rich (20) and Matt (18). Hated the car for the first year, especially when the gearbox went, but now it's running well I love it!

Electronic design engineer by training, so it's interesting to see some of the mods going on. I'm amazed at the things some of you guys are doing with ECUs and stereos.

Wage slave working for air traffic control (NATS - Hi to the chap from SITA!). Shirt and tie kinda job except when I'm working at home when it's pyjamas. :mat:

Like helping the Air Training Corps (Hi to 2408 Squadron and London Wing) 'cos I get to go flying and gliding for free!

Learning to ride a motorbike. Otherwise like riding the human powered type, especially somewhere muddy!

Its amazing the No of people in IT who own a IS200...well Im one of them.....just got a new job as a Pm/BA in Wolves...so In going to love getting stuck in traffic from Spagetti each day... so decided to get another car as well.....the best thing I ever did.....

Originally I was a Civil Engineer, but have been in the Police for 9 years.

Work in a unique department known as the SVS, or Stolen Vehicle Squad. I am 'apparently' an expert in the field of examination and identification of stolen vehicles which have been rung. Never come across a 'rung' Lexus yet........

Anyway enough shop talk........

My main hobby is golf, playing off 7. Current Burntisland Golf Club 'B' Champion (ninth oldest golf club in the world!!).

Had my '99 Lexus IS200SE for over a year - best car I have ever had and never fails to raise eyebrows and glances when the brand is mentioned.

A few minor (i.e. cheap) modifications.

Hope one day to

(1) retire

(2) own a Platinum Ice Navigator IS300 with the full Lexus kit

Anyways, here's about me...

I'm Paul and at 37 seem to fit in well with the average Lexus owner's age although sadly I'm not IT but have to wear a suit and tie cos I run an office equipment supplies company!! (YAWN)

Had my delivery mileage IS200SE Auto for 5 weeks now, it was an easy decision, beemers & mercs didn't come close, thank you Lexus Ipswich, cracking deal!!

No mods as yet but I'll be doing the odd bits and pieces in the near future and you'll be bound to see me floating around the odd discussion board here and there.

Just read the whole of this post and signed up on line for Gold membership (Hell the office supplies industry is quiet on a Friday afternoon!)

Fingers in lots of pies, mostly software related. Joint owner of three software companies. Currently living off earnings from Sony in Basingstoke, whilst trying to make money from all you nice people with flash mobile phones :winky: Written some games for various Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones, if anyone would like a freebie then drop me a mail.

Just got rid of an IS200 SE Nav. Loved it too bits but needed more power, so i've traded up to a lovely Granite Sky IS300 with Sat Nav. Very pleased. only mod is a Sports grille.

Not sure I've got time for mods at the moment, I'll just hang fire until the new IS in 2005 and roll a whole bunch up together, although I'm interested in dabbling with the stearo/sat nav. I'd love to hook my iPod up to the stereo and have the track names etc come out on the Nav screen, and use the Nav controls for controlling the ipod. that would be cool. No idea where to start. My electrical prowess is on par with that of a fish on a skateboard on a very steep hill with a sharp bend at the bottom, although the fish can probably wield a soldering iron without a strong smell of burning plastic/flesh.

Interests include gadgets, gym and karate (beginner).

I have owned my own computer shop in cambridge for the past 6 years (More IT!!) but have recently gone into partnership with a good friend and am now a licenced mortgage broker! Winding down the computers to go full out on the new business. Anybody want a mortgage....I can get you it! LOC discount on fees of course ;)

I also organise all nite parties on boats on the river thames as a hobby, been organising parties for 14 years now!!

other hobbies include..backgammon, clubbing, eating out & never washing my car :)

My name is Russ and at 21 nearly 22 i must be one of the youngest owners on here. I am originally from York but now living on the Wirral with my gorgeous girlfriend Vic who is 31. I am a professional footballer and my girlfriend is a primary school deputy headteacher. I have had my IS200 sport for 6 months and the only thing holding the mods back is the insurance company. Due to my age and profession i am taken to the cleaners by my insurance company hoping when i get 4 years no claims and am 22 it will comedown to something reasonable. Interests are mostly music, cars, films and generally going out.

Have had my Lex since june 2000 i think and have been a member since may 2002, i just read the first months, didnt registrer :) I honestly love LOC, to tell you the truth, im not even sure if a would still have a Lex if it warent for you guys as my local toyota garage has pretty poor service.

I am starting to get some miles on my is200 now and i am starting to think about getting a new car, i have been looking at some is300 sportcross but they are pretty expensive i think. I might just go for i is200 sportcross auto sport NAV since the perfomace is not all that important to me.

It would be realy cool to meet all of you in person some day.

Had my 2001 is200 se navigator for about 8 months and seem to spend most of my recent spare time repairing the bumps i have had (dosey :tsktsk: ). Previous car was a mondeo st24 so the choice for a new car was the lex or a nissan skyline, but lex won as I wouldnt look to professional turning up to a business meeting in a 400+ bhp street racing machine.

My interests are judo and grappling for the past 10 years and I also do abit of weight training to get rid of the forthcoming belly and occasionally I play soldier of fortune 2 online under the name of jasper carrot (as my little westy is called jasper)

Hi Guys. I'm jack, I live in a small village near Huddersfield called Denby Dale. It is famous for making the world's largest meat and potato pie. I'm about to move in to my first house in Barnsley, with my Girlfriend of 2 years, Miranda. I work in wakefield as area manager at a tile company called Caesars Ceramics. I've owned my IS200 since january 2004, and spent shed loads of money on it. Too much to be honest, but I'm now saving hard for the supercharger.

Name's James, had my lexus from new through work, and have recently purchased it through them.

Used to be in the RAF Regiment and now work for the MOD, which means I get to travel quite a bit.

"Whitie" came from my mates years back who changed it from my surname "White" (Smart lads us forces boys! )

Now live in Hampshire with my other half and cat!

Been doing Martial Arts for about 12years which is a big part of my life and currently starting to train for next years london marithon, which I'm doing for "Cancer Research" (on behalf of my mother who I lost last year).. So a lot of dieting for me!!

Other interests MY LEX, somehow its turned me into some Modding freak which is all I seem to think about!!... Sad I know, but you lot are just as bad/worse than me :P
