Ls400 1996 Oxygen Sensor Part Number

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to find out the part number for the pre-cat front oxygen sensor for the offside of the car (Bank 2 Sensor 1, I think).

Please can anyone help with Lexus part no, Denso part no and/or NGK part no? Also, is it best to buy a replacement which has the wiring plug on it or one without and splice in the plug from the existing sensor?

Thanks a lot.

Colin hi ,I cant help with the part numbers off the top of my head ,Steve 2006 will probably know though.

The sensors are the same for left and right banks ,those with the plugs on are quicker to fit but you will pay £20 to £30 more for them.

These are the ones I fitted to my Mk3 and they seem to work fine ,just a bit of soldering and insulating of the wires required .

Good luck with your replacements.

No problem,if you ever ring a Lexus dealer for a price make sure you are sat down first :)

The universal ones I bought used crimp sleeves to join to the existing cut off plug wires which were then covered in heatsrink.

It said in the instructions specifically not to solder the wires so be aware if yours are the same.
