Sat Nav Unsure If Ribbon Or Disc Error? Please Help!,,

I've read the usual ribbon cable threads but I have a slightly different issue

My screen powers up with the Lexus logo and then goes black, this is different to most posts as they either say it's completely blank or people have colours on the screen?

I've looked at the cable (completely removed sat nav and cable) and it's clean and looks undamaged

But I'm not ruling it out! And my disc is present, BUT it looks like it has a wear line around it.....

Could this line be what's causing my screen to go blank after the initial load up?

Please let some1 have had this issue and have a resolution otherwise I'm removing the system and putting the stock dash tray in its place which I've already got.

Sorry must have missed it,haven't had such issues with mine,apart from when I inadvertently bought the wrong disc and it came up with an error message"unable to read disc"after which I made sure I got the right one,which was over 4 years ago now

Hi all, just bought myself a nice IS 200 and am happy with the ride etc. Only problem is the Satnav isn't working, I don't have a disc so where do I purchased one? Please help. Cheers.

You should make a new post buddy, more people will see it rather than post on some1 else's old post.

And u can get a disc from Lexus or a website is cheaptoyotaparts :)
