Oil Leak

Eek, just had a call from Lexus Edgware Road (they're doing the insurance job on my car), asking if I knew my IS had an oil leak.

I'd had a right old go at my husband as I thought his car was leaking oil all over our drive and it couldn't possibly be my lovely Lexus....

Had him book his car into Honda and everything, even argued the toss when he denied it was his car. You can guess how much fun he's having now he knows he was right

Anyway, Lexus will look at it but I don't reckon it's engine oil - could it be from the gearbox? The car's only 2 years old, should it be fixed under warranty?

Doesnt matter where its coming from Claire... Lexus should fix any oil leak under warranty!!

Hurrah. At least I get off lightly there. I'm getting sooo much stick off Simon for saying it was his car!!!

Just tell him, if he drops it he can get a GS or Soarer

Just tell him Lexus Edgeware Rd called again to say the leak was not in fact from your car but in fact splashing from a puddle of oil - perhaps from another car leaking in the vicinity ... :D
