If the club was to have its own online store.. what would you like to see displayed for sale.. or what do you think would be good products to sell through the club?

We plan to create a coupon service where you would buy your products and enter your Gold membership coupon to receive discount

it would good to see a variety of different products lexus related or not

you could show prices before and after gold discount

even let non goldies see them, but not buy them, might give them a bit of encouragement to join

i presume items would be ones not offered on a one time only basis...ie:group buys

Isn't there one actually at Cafe Press ? You would like to make on on the club website to be independant ? Am I wrong ?

I think most of what is on CafePress can be continued, floor mats, club plates, all the stickers ... are a good point to start for me. :) You may sell parts from the club sponsors after a few time.

Personal preference, I wouldn't want this paypal system.. I'd prefer a SSL server setup (like amazon), but i accept that these things cost money, and I'm just stating my preference..

Things the club should sell:

LOC Merchandise

Caliper Stickers

Products for Group Buys (e.g. grills/bulbs) <- could run limit time

Tuning stuff, like strut braces/brake discs/pads -> stuff that needs to be imported, LOC online shop could act as an importer for this stuff?

Lexus related products, e.g. RC cars/memorbilia

Thats all i can think of at the moment, maybe some non-lexus stuff too...

nice die cast car models etc

You should start with small parts for you to have a stock (lower purchase price.

grils, floor mats, scuff plates, club stickers, knobs, gold or black pearl logos, break pads, strut bars, springs, replacement filter or bulbs :) ...

Bodykits, exhaust, wheels may not be a good choice because of their wheight and size (shipping cost to high)

PS : may you have to sell some Nismo parts for Zee :P

alloys u cant get over here but from the US, maybe shipping them over, chromes etc???

I would not mind seeing some club items like the LOC umbrellers, maybe even LOC golf balls.

Cant really think ov anything to add to all the above suggestions,but an online store would be a excellant addition to the site and im sure it would thrive,sine buying my IS 3 weeks ago the worst nightmare has been finding lexus stuff on decent sites to purchase,if they were all on one SSL server well i dont think i would be able to contain my excitemant

It is going to be alot of work.. this is why it is useful for me to get ideas from you guys... it is all intended to make ordering alot easier.

But most of the stock will be sent direct from the suppliers (funny.. dont think my small office will hold 20 sets of wheels and tyres)

Stock I was thinking for instance was stuff like, blue reverse bulbs, PIAA wipers, PIAA light bulbs, Super chargers, induction kits etc etc the list will grow to be quite big.

The same will go for TOC as i intend stocking for that club too as certain amount of stuff will fit other toyotas too.

Club merchadise will be stocked for sure.

Superchargers and wheels would be great B) , but it surely is more work than induction kits , PIAA stuff or bulbs.

I'm just curious to know if Superchargers would come from TDI or directly from TTE ? I ask as I read few month ago that TDI has rev.2 supercharger while TTE has rev.4.
