Keep getting popups only on this site from "reloadya" also Chinese dating site (await those replies with relish boys)

Thanks, this site has always been problematic for me regarding ads /popups.

I've installed the chrome version, so fingers crossed.

Edited to add, that worked superbly, no longer does it take an age to scroll up and down, thanks again Ian.

I've just tried to download the one for internet explorer and allI got was a stupid sign at the bottom of the screen asking ----do you want to save Adblockplusie-1_1_exe. options-save or cancel.I went for the cancel option nothing happened,now I can't get rid of the sign, any ideas Please

You will probably have to go into your computer's registry to remove this nasty.

If you don't know how to do this get someone who does or you may cause all sorts of problems .

i've used ad block for some time and it really works well.my 15yr old son installed it for me sometime ago,when he cleaned my computer out.Im 65 and can do most things,but he seems in a different league ,one of the advantages of having a 15yr old in the house,not too many others though

The... Adblockplusie-1_1_exe is the installation file. Save it to your computer, when it's finished downloading it will either open itself or you can find it in downloads folder.

Double click on program and it will install. The sign you have is for the adblock programme. If you want to remove .press on start menu....control panel.....programes and features.....highlight adblock plus and delete.

If you already have one of these nasty browser parasites, a good way to get rid of them is Spybot (http://www.fosshub.com/download/spybot-2.2.exe). You can use this to scan your computer for nasties, then remove them, then "immunise" your computer against future nasties. It works a treat :)

Hi Clunkfish, I use spybot regularly, including immunization, but this site has been particularly bad for me, possibly linked to using google chrome as my browser.

As I type adblocker indicator at the top of the page is showing sixteen.

It also worked well on a motorhome forum I visited last night, which has always been ad heavy.
