Hi

During the process of fitting a rear parking sensor to my Mk1 GS300 I appear to have shorted a circuit and now have no reversing lights, dash display or power to windows. All else appears ok.

I have checked all visible fuses (not relays etc) but cannot find the right fuse. All fuses checked are ok.

Owners manual is useless, can anyone help.

I would like to avoid diconnecting power to my stereo as I have no code to reset if at all possible .

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for the reply

I am now more baffled than I was earlier?

However I think that I have narrowed prob to fuses located inside car. My questions now are

1 Fuse F3 does elec seat adj and windows - fuse F3 is ok seats adjust but windows don't operate

2 Fuse F10 does switch illumination/instrument illumination/glove box lamp - fuse F10 is ok glove box lamp lights, centre console lights illuminate and switches illuminate and certain warning lights on dash display light up

3 Fuse F13 does instrument guages/warning lamps/ignition amplifier??/reversing lamps - fuse F13 is ok albeit instrument guages don't light or function, but some warning lights come on and no reversing lights.

Any further ideas.

Would a Battery disconnect help, I would like to avoid this as I have no radio code, but nevertheless need to way up the consequence.

Thanks

Keith
