I have got serious play in my wiper arms

I have read on here somewhere it is down to a nylon bush

does anyone have any photos or a cheat to fix this bush as I am going on a eurotrip on Wednesday do I haven't got a lot of time to fix this !!!

It would seem from the exploded diagram that the linkage is all one part (86160) so not sure if individual parts like bushes can be replaced.

The diagram below does not show much detail but may help.

To access the mechanism the black plastic panels surrounding the wiper arms needs to be removed, the passenger side is easy, just remove the plastic fixing studs and lift it out. The driver's side requires removal of the wiper arm from the shaft.

Removing one or both may allow enough access to see where the excess movement is coming from.

I had the same problem with mine and ended up going for a decent second hand one. As I recall, a new one from Lexus as about a grand!

Just found out that this is down to a small nylon block/bush. I am going to get a handful machined soon
