Handle Lights.

These dark nights are a revelation, I now know that all the internal door handles are illuminated, nice touch.

However, one of my handles requires a new bulb, now I admit that I haven't given this a good looking at yet, but, any idea how we replace this bulb on an LS430 ?

On the subject of replacing bulbs, how do I get to the bulbs that illuminate my drive selection next to the gear shift lever ?

Probably will require removal of the interior door trim to access the handle illumination.

The shifter position light may be a single fixed position bulb and on earlier models can be got to by prising up the wood trim around the shifter using a wallpaper scraper blade.

Might a light tap on the console nudge the bulbs into working ???? worked on my Mk2 Ls400 a while back.
