picked up my lubbly silver soarer TT today

she is wonderfull... and verrry quick... plenty of ooomph from 70 upwards.. just wants more and more.

I did not open her up until i was on known territory.. and when i did.. my goodness i have to hold back.. I tell ya.. she is a blinking rocket!

as the car had been standing around I think the hand brake was a little sticky as ii noticed a slight rumble on the back... and the hand brake was a bit slack until half way.. but thats a small problem that is easily fixed.

I will post some pics in a bit... just catching my breath! :D

WIcked looking car mate!

Have you seen the one in Jap Performance Mag? Yours tears it a new a s s hole! can see why you got it, yours looks very modern where some with kits on look very dated. Keep it gorgeous mate!

Ps. Has Olive been out in popeye's new boat yet? Christened it, have we? ;)

only thing that would "bother" me is that it has a conventional handbrake and a manual gear box but you wanted that so fair play to ya mate. I think luxury cars should be auto but then I am an old fuddy duddy...

It looks fresh outta the bok though mate. just went back and had to have another look!

must admit handbrake is not my favourite.

I went for manual because of resale value later on.. as these are rare I would imagine i could sell the car easier.. plus the paintwork came as a bonus too.. silvers and pearl whites sell quicker compared to their dark met green brothers.

The manual box is nice.. feels tight as the miles are low on the car

The only small prob i can spot is that the car has only done 8000 miles (or could be kms) in 2 years.. the last 4 months it has been stood up and the hand brake is a bit sticky on the rear calipers.. a bit of a clean up and it should fix that problem.

I am chuffed.. i can see why these are a specialist car... smooth and handles very well.. does not wollow as the TEMS suspension hardens on cornering and braking... quite suprising.

seats are firm and comfortable... digital dash is very nice

the great feature i like is the turning lights... at night when you indicate the bottom light (looks like fog light) actually point to the side and light up the point where you want to turn... so if you have the left indicator on the left direction light comes on... fantastic feature.

The TT comes with less features compared to the V8 to keep the weight down.. but it is minus features that i never used.. so less to go wrong.
