"check Vsc" Displayed On Dashboard !

Hello everyone,

A couple of days ago I stopped at a petrol station to put some diesel and after I drove a few hundred meters "Check VSC" come on didplay, a big red triangle, malfunction engine sign (on the bottom left side) and TRC OFF also (on right hand side of the dashboard). Now...I had sleepless the last 48hours trying to figure out what and where...I post on this forum around 8 help messages @all very simple:

The diesel cap when its not close properly makes ur dashboard looks like an early Xmas tree !!!!

All sorted !! Next time when u get some messages on ur dashboard try to calm down and remember the last think you did before all "early Halloween" starts.

..and one more tip: the la software t think u wanna do its throw ur car in some lexus garage (unleast if its not out of warranty) u won't. They can fix it like in 5min and hold it for a couple of weeks after that, changing you with a 4k-6k. Be aware!!

Hey, this happend to me a few months ago.

I changed my headlight bulbs, then went to fill up at a local oetrol station and on the way my car just started shaking and died. I managed to get her started again but then the dash lit up like a christmas tree.

I too went over the last few steps and realised by air filter was not put back in properly and the intake hose had come out. Put everything back in place and the car was fine, however the "check VSC" was still on.

Took the negative off the Battery for 5 mins..........AND ALL WAS GOOD AGAIN.

Must admit thou at first I was ****ting my pants as I started reading other posts and it seemed like a dealer job££££....But was lucky.

can you 2 give me some lottery numbers, I had this same fault and needed a new egr valve
